Premium Sports spun out of Setanta to show 6N in bars
Despite Setanta's problems viewers in the US will still be able to see the 6N in bars as usual but now the provider is Premium Sports which has been spun out of Setanta. Clarification - Premium Sports will only handle the matches shown in bars that normally costs $20 admission. You can find all the details on premiumsportsinc.com/

It doesnt look like we will be able to get premiumsportsinc on cabe/satellite TV. Any idea on what happens with Setanta viewers?

Premium Sports is now separate from Setanta and only deals with the bar business. I still have no confirmation that the Setanta Sports channel will stop broadcasting, I have seen all the rumors but no one have produced and while they have lost some soccer sub-licensed deals they have not lost any rugby rights.

My guess on Setantas demise is as follows:
Setantas licensing on Barclays Premier League will expire on February 28th.
They will probably start notifying customers about this 30 days from that date.
('They' being Setanta Sports USA Inc. )
'Fox Soccer Plus HD' will debut one day after Setantas last day in business (March 1st)
and will be a High-Definition, All-Soccer Channel. Initially, their core customer base will be Bars and Restaurants with Liquor Licenses.
As far as Setantas Rugby broadcasts. NO IDEA. Hopefully, someone will come to the rescue and show the Guinness Premiership, Magners League and Heineken Cup.
The GAA will continue to be all Pay-Per-View on Premium Sports Inc.
Just a guess...

Superfan14, Premium Sports Inc. is only available to venues with Liquor Licenses. (i.e. Bars and Restaurants ) You need a special dish to receive their signal ( a 38-inch Ku dish) and de-scrambler box. I know, because I have this equipment attached to the side of my building.

Paul, I think your prediction is perfectly valid but initial speculation about Setanta revolved around Fox taking the soccer rights away from them due to lack of payment. Perhaps they were removed as part of the FSC+ channel's pending announcement. It is all speculation until the end of the month but I'd be very disappointed if we lost the great coverage of rugby that Setanta are bringing us.
